At approximately 8:00 am on Sunday, 5 June 2016, the Internal Security Apparatus summoned Hasan Hussein Hasan Al Wali, 46, to its office in Jabaliya refugee camp on the background of his activity in the Internally Displaced Persons League. Al Wali was elected as a general coordinator and spokesperson of the league (which includes people who lost their houses during the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip in 2014). The league is sponsored by Civil Society Studies Center. The League is a gathering that aims to highlight problems of IDPs and to defend their rights. In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Al Wali stated that as soon as he arrived at the apparatus office, he was blindfolded. He was then interrogated about his activities;  his affiliation to Fatah Movement; the League’s activities related to rebuilding Gaza and the distribution of cement;  and the aim of the League. During interrogation,  he was verbally abused and beaten at his face. He was threatened to be summoned contentiously until he stops his activity with the League. The apparatus members did not give him time to explain to them that he suffers from problems in his kidney. The apparatus released him at  3:30 pm on the same day but after issuing him another summon on 12 June 2016.
