On Monday 3 February 2014, the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights issued a report on attacks against children in armed conflict and in internal incidents during 2013.

The report then presents statistical brief and a final conclusion.

All violations against children rights are supported with affidavits from eyewitnesses.
Violations against children can be divided into two parts:
Killing and Maiming of Children: the report indicates that 13 children were killed and 41 were injured as a result of incidents linked directly or indirectly with the conflict with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), such as the unexploded ordnances and fires resulted by the Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
Arrest and Detention of Children: the report demonstrates that during the reporting period 36 children were detained by the IOF, throughout IOF limited incursions, pursuing fishermen to the shore, rubble collectors, or children who approach the separation fence for work or exploring the area.
The report concluded that the IOF continues its attacks against children either by killing, injuring, and detaining them.
At the end of the report, Al Mezan reiterated its condemnation of Israeli violations against Palestinian children and called upon the international community to take action to bring to a swift end the violations and to bring its perpetrators to justice.
