At approximately 10:00 am on Wednesday 9 January 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) closed Erez crossing until 11:44 am on the same day.
This prevents a number of patients and their escorts, businessmen, journalists, and international employees to travel via the crossing.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the IOF closed the crossing because there were a number of Palestinian rubble collectors near the crossing gate.
