The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed the Gaza Strip and the West Bank crossings on Monday and Tuesday 29-30 March 2010.
According to the field investigations conducted by Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights, the IOF completely closed the crossing on Monday and Tuesday.
No patients, internationals or journalist were allowed to pass thecrossing.
The IOF reopened the crossing on Wednesday between 7:30am until 1pm for travellers and between 7:30am until 4pm for arrivers.
The IOF will continue to work on this strategy on Thursday and Friday.
On Sunday , the IOF will completely close Erez and work at the crossing will partially start on Sunday 4 April 2010.
This closure comes due to the Jewish Passover holiday.
