The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed the Gaza Strip and the West Bank crossings.
The closure started on Friday 26 February 2010 until Monday evening 1 March 2010.
According to the field investigations conducted by Al Mean Centre for Human Rights, the IOF opened the Erez crossings on Friday just for patients, internationals and journalists.
The IOF completely closed the crossing on Satuday and Sunday and it would open it for urgent humanitarian cases on Monday for three hours (starting from 7am to 9am and from 3pm-4pm).
On Tuesday, working at the crossing would partially start.
This closure comes due to the Jewish Purim holiday.
