On June 12th at around 1.
30pm, clashes erupted between Hamas armed persons and Preventive Security officials, killing Hammad Jazar, 30, who was transferred to Gaza European Hospital where he died half an hour later.
The clashes originated during the funeral of Houssam Abu Anza, 25 who was killed in armed clashes on June 4th.
On June 12, at approximately 2.
35pm, armed persons opened fire at Ayman Abu Hatab, a Preventive Security official who was kidnapped and released after half an hour.
On the same day at around 4.
10, armed persons besieged the Preventive Security building in Rafah, opened fire and launched rockets towards the building until 7.
15, killing Sulaiman Zanoun and injuring 14 people.
A group of citizens failed to stop the clashes which have totally ended following the intervention of the National Security Forces that resulted in the wounding of a number of citizens.
The final numbers of wounded remain unidentified.
Khan Younis:
The clashes reached Al Sheikh Nasser area in Khan Younis on the same day at around 7pm, where armed persons broke into the clinic of Dr.
Salah Al Rantisi, brother of the late Hamas leader, Abdul Aziz Al Rantisi.
The perpetrators damaged the equipment and kidnapped Dr.
Salah who was set two hours later.
