At approximately, 8:30 on the 23rd of December, masked men fired at Hasan Ismail Jarbou', lieutenant in the protective security apparatus, in Al Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah. Jarbou sustained serious injures as he was hit by a live bullet to the chest. The attack also resulted in the injury of Ahmed Rafat Mansour, 28, by a live bullet to the abdomen, and Amal Iyad Jaber, 9, by a live bullet to the left leg.
