On 22 April 2007, gunmen kidnapped Hassan Abu Sharkh, 51, while he was in his cell phone store in Jabalia. Meanwhile, an Executive Force patrol was passing by the area and clashed with the kidnappers, injuring Nazmi Sultan,25. Abu Sharkh was found dead in Talil Hawa neighborhood after around an hour and a half.
