Two Palestinians Injured in Israeli Shooting in Eastern Khuzaa

At 6:00pm on Sunday, 8 April 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khuzaa opened fire and launched tear-gas grenades at Palestinian demonstrators who assembled in Al Awda camp, organized in eastern Khuzaa as part of the “Great Return March” demonstrations. Some of these demonstrators set tires on fire and tried to approach the border fence. Ahmed Sammor, 29, was injured in the right leg, and Malak Al Shawwaf, 13, was injured by shrapnel that hit her neck. Both casualties were taken to the European Gaza Hospital to receive medical treatment.
