Two Protesters Injured in Israeli Shooting in Eastern Khan Younis

At 2p.m. on Friday, 9 March 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khan Younis opened fire at tens of adults and children joining demonstrations to the east of Abasan Al Kabeera, Abasan Al Jadida towns, and Al Sareej area, in eastern Khan Younis. The demonstrations were held in protest of the latest U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Palestinian protesters set tires on fire and threw stones at Israeli forces, which responded with fire and tear-gas, causing moderate wounds to two Palestinians, who were taken to the European Gaza Hospital. A number  of other protesters, affected by Israeli firing of tear-gas, received the necessary medical care in the field.
