At approximately 8:00 am on Monday, 27 June 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of farmers and shepherds who were in the Malaka agricultural area east Al Zaytoun neighborhood eastern Gaza City. No injuries were reported. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the IOF opened fire at the farmers when they were about 300 meters away from the borders. The firing frightened the farmers and they abandoned their work and left the area.
