On 3 June 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Bassam Mahmoud Ahmed Baraka, 38, married and a father of five children and resident of Al Barouk neighborhood in Deir Al Balah city. According to his family, the International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed that their son is arrested at Ashkelon prison.
