At approximately 7:30 am on Monday, 6 June 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Ayatollah Ali Abed Al Kareem Sarhan,37; resident of Jabaliya refugee camp while he was travelling through Erez crossing for business purposes. In his affidavit to Al Mezan, his brother Ahmed Sarhan stated that his brother Ayatollah, who is known as Al Khomeini, has a businessman permission to travel via Erez crossing and he travelled for this purpose. He lost contact with his brother since he travelled. At approximately 11:00 am on Wednesday, 8 June 2016, Al Khomeini’s wife received a call from unidentified number; identifying himself as from the Israeli police and informed her that her husband is arrested. Al Mezan’s lawyers are following up the case. They had information that the detainee is under interrogation at Ashkelon prison and he is detained for three days
