At approximately 5:30 PM on Thursday, 31 March 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stationed at the northern border, opened fire at Palestinians who were walking in the border-adjacent area, northwest of Um Al-Nasser (the Bedouin village) in North Gaza district. As a result, Mohammed Hassan Hasan Abu Jarad, 22, resident of Um Al-Nasser village, sustained a bullet wound in his right leg. Medical sources at the Indonesian Hospital described his injury as moderate. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Mohammed was about 150 meters from the border.
