At approximately 9:00 am on Thursday, 4 February 2016,Israeli tanks accompanied by three bulldozers moved about 70 meters into Al Shoka village east of Rafah. Israeli bulldozers leveled e lands in the area. The incursion continued for one hour and then the Israeli tanks withdrew from the area. No injuries or causalities were reported.
