At approximately 4:00 am on Monday, 10 August 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire and surrounded a small fishing boat (Hasaka) in the Gaza sea, to the west of Gaza Port at the west of Gaza governorate. IOF ordered two fishermen to take off their clothes and to swim towards one of the gunboats where they were arrested and taken to unknown destination. Al Mezan identified the fishermen as: the owner of the boat, Mohammed Ismael Ahmad AlShrafi, 37; and Mohammed Sa’eed Fathi Al Sa’edi, 24. They live in Alshtee refugee camp, to the west of Gaza governorate. The IOF confiscated the boat and the fishing equipment.
