At approximately 3:30 am on Wednesday, 27 May 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at a Palestinian fishing boat carrying two fishermen, Islam As-Sayyed Khamis Murad, 25, and his brother Mahmoud, 23, residents of Al Shate’ refugee camp. They entered deep in the sea, about 7 nautical miles inside, west of Gaza port west of Gaza City. According to the fisherman Islam, three Israeli gunboats opened heavy fire at them, verbally abused them while chasing them from a distance of seven miles to the three miles. One was injure and carried to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza. He sustained two bullet wounds, one in his rights thigh and the other was injured in his left hand.
