At approximately 2:15 pm on Tuesday, 17 March 2015, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian farmers who were in their lands in As-Saiafa area northwest of Beit Lahiya, in North Gaza district.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the farmers were 300 meters away from the separation fence when the IOF opened fire at them.
No causalities or injuries were reported but farmers were terrified and abandoned their work.
