At approximately 11:20 am on Tuesday 13 May 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at rubble and scrap collectors who were about 300 meters away from the borders east the Islamic cemetery east of Jabaliya in North Gaza district.
No injuries or causalities were reported.
According to Al Mezan’s filed investigations, a number of scrap collector went on their carts to the border area to search for scraps in order to sell them to the iron factories to recycle them and provide an income.
