Short Link:
At approximately 10:30 am on Sunday 26 January 2014, Public Committee for Refugees organized a public sit-in in front of the UNRWA distribution supply center in Al Nuseirat refugee camp.
Hundreds of residents of the Middle Gaza district camps participated in the sit-in and they raised posters condemning UNRWA decision to reduce the number of the beneficiaries of the emergency and the humanitarian aids program which the UNRWA provides.
During the sit-in, the chairman of the Public Committee for Refugees in Al Nuseirat camp read a release calling for revoking the decision and expanding the nutritional aids.
Some participants expressed their anger and protest toward the changes that Al UNRWA is planning to make, which will be implemented during the aid distribution in April 2014.
