At approximately 12:30 pm on Wednesday 8 January 2014, six Israeli tanks moved about 100 meters under covering fire into Bouret Abu Samra border area north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Palestinian farmers who were there left their lands and moved away from the area.
At approximately 3:00 pm of the same day, Israeli tanks withdrew.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
