At approximately 1:00 am on Sunday 3 November 2013, eight Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) tanks moved under sporadic covering fire about 200 meters from the north border line in As-Sayafa area northwest of Beit Lahya in North Gaza district.
The farmers in As-Sayafa and Bourat Abu Samrah areas left their lands fearing from being shot.
The Israeli tanks moved adjacent to the line border till they arrived at the destroyed industrial area in the west of Erez crossing.
At approximately 11:00 am of the same day, IOF withdrew from the area.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
