Palestinian Woman Dies from Wounds She Sustained in 2001

At approximately 11:30 pm on Friday 27 September 2013, medical sources at Gaza European Hospital announced the death of Randa Abdel Hafez Al Qaseer, 49, from wounds she had sustained during Israeli incursion.
At approximately 11:00 am on Tuesday 1 May 2001, a number of Israeli tanks accompanied by armored bulldozers moved under covering fire near Bahlol Petrol Station in Al Brazil neighborhood in Rafah.
As a result, Mohammed Mousa Abu Jazar, 57, was killed and Randa Al Qaseer sustained a bullet wound in the back causing paralyzation.
Randa was in her house which is located 300 meters away from the separation fence when she was injured.
