At approximately 1:30 pm on Tuesday 12 February 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained Mohammed Samir Abu Daqqa, 26, as he was on his way to Gaza.
Abu Daqqa was accompanying his sick mother Najwa ‘Iliyan Abu Daqq, 49, when the IF detained him at Erez crossing.
He was detained for three hours during which he was interrogated by Israeli security agency.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu Daqqa accompanied his injured mother to Al Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem.
His mother was injured when the IF attacked her house on 18 November 2012.
