At approximately 3:30 pm on Friday 21 December 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian farmers and a number of young Palestinian men who were in Hamdoush agricultural area north of Beit Lahiya, in North Gaza district.
As a result, three persons including a child were injured.
Al Mezan has identified them as follows:
Mohammed Ibrahim Salman, 15, sustained a bullet wound in the left leg;
Mohammed Mustafa ‘Ashour, 31, sustained bullet wound in the leg; and
Basel Mohammed Abu Al Qoumasan, 23, sustained a fracture in the left elbow while he was trying to help one of the injured persons.

Medical sources at Al Awda Hospital described their injuries as moderate.
The farmers left their lands afraid of fire.
