Ramallah 2 October - The Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC)* is pleased to announce its participation in the World Social Forum-Free Palestine (WSF), which takes place from 28 November to 1 December 2012, in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
This global event is a public space to share ideas and strategize ways to maximize the potential for solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The four-day WSF will consist of five main panels with speakers from across the globe, including a panel on the right to return and right to self-determination, a panel on international law and human rights and a panel on the illegality of the annexation wall.
There will also be a panel on popular resistance and another on strategies to mobilize and create solidarity movements, which will also discuss the case of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS).
