At approximately 11:20 am on Wednesday 2 May 2012, an Israeli helicopter gunship opened fire at agricultural lands east of Abasan and Khuza’a villages in the east of Khan Younis district.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
Four Italian solidarity activists were in the area, with the goal of emboldening farmers to work on their lands near the border, when the firing took place.
