At approximately 12:30pm on Wednesday 16 February 2011, the Ministry of Communications in Gaza took possession of a white Volkswagen car.
The police went to Mr.
Tareq Al Hendi, the General Secretary of the Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU), at PGFTU office, which is located in the Al Jalaa Street in Gaza city, and ordered him to hand them the car keys.
The car belongs to the PGFTU in Gaza Strip and was used by Mr.
Al Hendi.
The police gave Al Hendi a document that reports the confiscating of the car.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Al Hendi said that the car was given to the PGFTU In 2002 by the International Labor Organization.
The car was taken by the police upon a decision issued by the Minister of Communications in Gaza.
