At app. 9pm on Thursday 28 January 2010, two armed men opened fire at Khader Shehada Sha'afout, 32, who lives in As-Sabra neighborhood in the south of Gaza City. He was injured in his two legs. The victim works as a taxi driver with the Dream Taxi Office in Al Yarnouk Street in the west of Gaza City. The motives behind the attack remain unclear.
