At approximately 11:30am on Monday 17 August 2009, civil defense teams have found the dead body of Fahed Hussein Mousa, 23, a member of Jund Ansar Allah group. The dead body was found under a destroyed house belongs to Lafi family. The house was destroyed during clashes between armed men and Gaza Government security forces backed up with Al Qasam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Movement. This increases the number of causalities to 27.
