On Jan. 26th, 2006 at app. 6:20pm, around 15 armed men broke into Al Hedaya mosque located in Telil Hawa neighborhood close to the Palestinian Preventive Security building, they kidnapped Mohammad Al Borny, a Hamas activist, and killed three people: Sulaiman Hamouda, 20, Masoud Shamalakh, 20, and Zuhair Al Mansy, 45, Head of Hamas Missionary Committee in Telil Hawa neighborhood. Four other people were injured. On the same day at app 8:30pm, armed clashes broke out between members of the Executive Force and Hamas activists on one side and the Preventive Security Force in the same area, killing a passerby Raafat Totah, 22 and wounding 7.
