Fire shooting and abductions in Beit Hanoun

On 5 February 2007, at app.
11:30pm, gunmen opened fire at the Executive Force Headquarters located next to Omar Abdul Aziz mosque in Beit Hanoun.
No casualties were reported.
On the same day at app.
1am, members of the Executive Force and the Qassam Brigades broke into the Force 17's Headquarters in Khalil Wazir St.
close to Beit Hanoun Municipality, they opened fire intensively and abducted 5 persons.
Two hours later, the abductees were released following the intervention of the High Committee of Islamic and National Factions.
