20am, one man died and eight persons were injured in the Rafah Crossing area where thousands of passengers crowded near the JVT gate.
The Presidential Security Forces opened fire to warn the passengers, injuring three persons.
Five others were bruised due to pushing among the passengers.
Medics reported the death of Omar Qazaez, 61, at app.

30am, who suffered a heart attack while he was trying to leave the Gaza Strip to follow medical treatment abroad.
Although the crossing was supposed to open for both ways, and many passengers were able to cross into Gaza, few passengers were allowed to leave the Strip.
