On 14 March 2007, at app. 5pm, gunmen opened fire on Nahed Al Aqraa, 40, Officer within the Intelligence Apparatus, injuring his legs. Al Aqraa was kidnapped and beaten few hours earlier, while he was close to his house in the Shiekh Redwan neighborhood in Gaza City. According to medics in the Shifa Hospital, he is in critical condition. No available information on the identity of the kidnappers.
