On 10 April 2007 at app. 11pm, gunmen opened fire on Tahseen Al Ghalban,33, officer within the Intelligence Apparatus, while he was in his house located in Maan neighborhood in East Khan Younis. Al Ghalban was transferred to Nasser Hospital in a critical condition. At app. 3am on the same day,he died of his wounds.
