At approximately 4am on Thursday 30 August 2007, a fight broke out between members of the Al Majaida family in Khan Younis town, and resulted in the killing of the 19-year-old disabled Ismail Ibrahim Ismail Al Majaida as a live bullet entered his abdomen. Following the incidents, tens of the victim's relatives sat fire to the car of the father of the suspected person in the killing. Later, a group of the EF arrived at the scene of the incident, and exchanged fire with member of the victim's family. Four EF members were injured as a result, and the suspect person was detained.
