At app.3.00pm on 22 October 2007, an explosive device was placed along the road linking Karni Crossing with Al Shuhada junction in eastern Gaza. The device exploded and caused damages to a jeep was driven by policemen, and inured 21-year-old- Ahmad Abed Al Muhsin Abu Maghasib with shrapnel to his shoulder. Abu Maghasib was transferred to Shuhada Al Aqsa hospital, and was reported to have sustained moderate injuries.
