At approximately 1am, on 1 May 2008, IOF military vehicles entered one kilometer into Al Faraheen neighborhood in the eastern Khan Younis village of Abasan.
IOF stormed into several houses and turned them into military barracks, after gathering the residents of these houses in one room in each house.
Then the IOF transferred the men of this neighborhood in a military truck and took them inside Israel, where it detained them in an open area and blindfolded until 1am the next day.
IOF released them near a watchtower on the borderline in eastern Khan Younis.
At approximately 3pm, on the same day, IOF opened fire at 55-year-old Mohammed Abu Daqqa while he was near his home in the incursion area.
As a result, he was killed from a live bullet to his abdomen.
During the incursion, the IOF bulldozed 192 dunams of farms cultivated with olives, almonds, palms, vegetables, wheat and barley, and destroyed irrigation networks and electricity and telephone networks.
IOF remained in this area until 10:30pm, on 1 May 2008, where it redeployed inside the borderline.
