On Sunday, 27 July 2008, at approximately 11:00 am, the IOF, stationed on the northern separation border, opened fire toward a group of Palestinian farmers gathered protesting against preventing them from reaching their lands, which are 300 meters, in northern Beit Hanoun.
No causalities or damages were reported.
The local initiative of Beit Hanoun institutions organized the peaceful protest march entitled" Our Land" that included a number of farmers, land owners and a number of the initiative's members.
This initiative aimed to reach lands adjacent to the separation border, to plant nurslings.
When participants moved forward only 100 meters from the separation border, IOF fired on air and toward them in order to keep them away from the area.
After they planted the nurslings they left the area with no causalities.
