A large force of the Ministry of Interior's Internal Security stormed into the house of MP Ashraf Jouma of Fateh movement at around 1:30pm on Thursday, 6 November 2008, which is located at Saddam Hussien Street in al-Jineina neighborhood in Rafah.
The force arrested a number of Fateh leaders of different areas of the Gaza Strip.
Nearly 50 Fateh members were arrested while they were at the MP's place.
It is noteworthy that MP Jouma had invited Fateh leaders to a banquet, celebrating the recent release of some of them form Hamas jails.
MP Jouma refused that his guest would be arrested from his place and insisted that he would be arrested too.
The force also arrested him.
Internal Security has arrested Muzir al-Bardaweel, Fateh Secretary in Rafah, earlier at around 10:00am on the same day.
According to Al Mezan resources, the force comprised 40 members of the Internal Security.
The Arrested Fateh members were moved to the Internal Security's headquarters in a bus and nine vehicles.
