The belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces continue the use of lethal and excessive force and the willful killing of Palestinian civilians.
Yesterday these forces using snipers fired at Palestinians killing three of them.
Also a Palestinian who was wounded on 11/11/2000 died.
The 4 dead are: Muhammad Nasr at-Tawuil, 18 year-old from Khanyounis, from a bullet to the heart.
Yehya Naif Abu Shimala, 27 year-old from Khanyounis, from a bullet to the heart.
Tawfiq Abd al-Rahman al-Ja'idi, 32 year-old from Qalqilia, a soldier on the Palestinian Security Forces.
Ahmad Hasan Dahlan, 18 year-old from Khanyounis, wounded on 11/11/2000 by a bullet to the head.
Destruction of public and civilian property continued during the shelling of Palestinian households and public buildings with anti-tank missiles and machine-guns.
The flattening of a large area of agricultural Palestinian land continued, with the destruction of agricultural buildings and green houses.
Furthermore yesterday these forces shelled houses in Nablus, Bethlehem, Bait Jala, Jericho, Aqbat Jabr Refugee Camp and Al Qarara in the Gaza Strip.
Today 14/11/2000, in a dangerous escalation the Israeli occupation forces tightened its siege of the occupied territories by completely isolating Palestinian towns and villages from each other, and imposed a military siege around them and closed their entrances with cement blocks and mounds of earth.
In the Gaza Strip they have separated the North from the South near the Gosh Kativ settlement junction, and have forbidden the movement of the only road between the North and the South.
It is feared that the Israeli occupation forces will bombard Ramallah with airplanes and tanks especially the Muqata'a Building, where the people have been asked to evacuate the building in fear of the threats made by the Israeli premier to increase the violence of the measures used against Palestinians.
As a result of the deterioration of the situation in the occupied territories and the dangerous escalation of the use of force used by the belligerent Israeli occupation forces we at al-Mezan demand once again the international community to fulfill their legal obligations to provide Palestinian civilians international protection.
The failure to do so can only be viewed as a reward for the crime perpetrated.
