Israeli Forces Open Fire at Fishermen in West Khan Younis

On Saturday, 5 May 2018, Israeli naval forces opened heavy fire towards Palestinian fishermen sailing off the coast of west Khan Younis within the allowed fishing zone at 7:15pm and again 1am. The shooting continued sporadically for several hours, forcing fishermen to stop their work and escape in fear. No casualties were reported.
