11 December 2017

At 13:00 on Monday, 11 December 2017, Israeli occupation forces based at the eastern borders in Khan Younis tear-gassed and opened fire at tens of children and young adults in a demonstration a few meters away from the eastern borders of Khuzaa and Abasan Al Kabira with Israel. These children and young adults were demonstrating to protest the U.S. President’s announcement of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Firing tear-gas bombs and shooting continued sporadically for several hours. Six protestors, including three children, were injured, and they were taken to the European Gaza Hospital for treatment. Their injuries varied from light to moderate.
