Young Man Dies after Mishandling a Weapon in Maghazi Refugee Camp

At 15:20 on Wednesday, 27 September 2017, Tareq Fawwaz Khaddora, 19, was rushed to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah where he died one hour later. Doctors said he died from severe injury caused by an AK-47 rifle bullet that pierced his abdomen and exited through his back. According to field reporting, Khaddora mistakenly shot himself while handling a weapon inside his house. The police have opened an investigation into the incident.
