Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats Western Al Waha Area

At approximately 7:30 am on Thursday, 16 March 2017, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza sea off Biet Lahiya, western Al Waha area, west of North Gaza district. The shooting continued until 9:00 am on the same day. Fishermen abandoned their work and sailed back to land. No injuries or causalities were reported.
