Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats Western Al Waha Area

At approximately 8:00 am on Sunday, 1 January 2017, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza see off of Beit Lahiya western Al Waha area in North Gaza district. As a result, fishermen were terrified and abandoned their work and sailed to land immediately. No injuries or causalities were reported.
