Abu Madi family, Al Nuseirat refugee camp

At approximately 2:30 pm on Saturday 2 August 2014, an Israeli warplane fired a missile at the house of Yousif Dawoud Abdel Mun’im Abu Madi (68) that is located in Al Nuseirat refugee camp. The three-story house is about 280 square meters in area and hosts five families of 21 members. The house was totally destroyed and six people were killed. Ten other people were injured including four women and three children.

Al Mezan identified names of the people killed as follows:

1. Yousif Dawoud Abdel Mun’im Abu Madi (68);
2. Abdel Karim Yousif Dawoud Abu Madi (24) Yousif's son;
3. Hassan Yousif Dawoud Abu Madi (17) Yousif's son;
4. Amin Yousif Dawoud Abu Madi (10) Yousif's son;
5. Yousif Shadi Abu Madi (6) Shadi's son and Yousif's grandson; and
6. Hala Shadi Yousif Abu Madi (10 days) Shadi's daughter and Yousif's granddaughter.
