17-year-old Doaa Jamil Al Najjar from Khan Younis was a sociable girl. She gave religious lessons for women at a mosque near her house. “Her dream was to be with the prophet’s wives in heaven,” says her mother. “She was very considerate and had a heart of gold. She used to take care of her old and sick neighbor,” her mother added.

Four families, including the Al Najjar family, were living in the Al Dali building in Khan Younis. Without warning, the building was bombarded by missiles by Israeli warplanes. It was destroyed. Thirty-five people were killed, including Doaa.
