Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats West of Beit Lahiya

At approximately 6:00 am on Tuesday 11 March 2014, Israeli gunboats opened fire at the Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza Sea in north and west Al Waha area- near the maritime borders- west of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Palestinian fishermen abandoned their work and sailed to land immediately.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
