Al Monitor:: Palestinians in Gaza celebrate Sharon's death

Statistics from the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights indicate that more than 2,300 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip during Sharon's time as prime minister, from 2001 to 2006.
These Palestinians were killed during incursions by Israeli forces into Palestinian areas, most notably 'Operation Rainbow' in 2004, in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
